Riding Triumph motorbikes is most likely popular also in heaven because after months of heavy raining it turned sunny on the day of the Third International Meeting of Triumph motorbikes which took place in Hradec Králové on the 10th of June 2006.

More than 70 Triumph fans came to the meeting of this legendary British label. They were from Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and also from Sweden. The number was again a bit higher than it was the previous year. The mixture of motorbikes was rich but most of them were Triumph Tiger (Travel Enduro) because this type is most suitable for Czech routes (especially after this year’s winter). As one of the foreigner friends mentioned: “the Czech republic is simply TIGERLAND“.

Not only the participators’ motorbikes but also the newbies of the year 2006 – Scrambler and Daytona 675 delivered by the official Olomouc importer for CZ - were to be seen in Hradec Králové. Both of these were successfully accepted as being amazing by everyone: Scrambler for its really wonderful retro-visage, Daytona for its almost craftlike manifacturing. No keen motorbiker stays incurious when seeing it - it proves his race spirit.

A colourful snake of Triumph motorbikes left for not faraway situated Orlické Mountains, after a friendly discussion in Hradec Králové, to enjoy nice weather and tasteful dinner: roasted pig with barrels of beer and wine. For volunteers, curious fellows and especially foreign participators who wanted to see more of the Orlické Mountains’ beauties and damaged motorways, there was a 150km long trip around the mountains which was really perfect (everyone survived). There was a lively discussion about every possible topic: motorbikes, journeys, plans and other moto topics.

On the Sunday morning, most participators left with a pleased feeling about the weekend and headed back to their home garages wishing to come again to the fourth Triumph Meeting in Hradec Králové next year.
